TESTS AND RESULTS

WHAT CAN BE TESTED?

 
At the Youth Centre, you can be tested for the following sexually transmitted diseases/viruses/bacteria:
 

– Chlamydiosis
– HIV-infection
– Gonorrhoea
– Syphilis
– Mycoplasmas and ureaplasma (tests that are not taken during ordinary check-ups for venereal diseases)
– Hepatitis B and C
– Pap test + HPV (test for assessing the state of the cervix / the human carriage of the papillomavirus)
– Herpes
– Bacterial vaginosis
– Fungal infections
Tests related to the detection of pregnancy:
– Ultrasound
– Venous blood sample test
– Urine sample test

RESULTS

 
Tests have been performed, but how do you get the results?
 
If your test result is negative ‒ which means you do not have a disease ‒ we will not contact you.
 
If your test result is positive ‒ meaning that you have a disease – we will phone you or send you an e-mail.
 
Therefore, please make sure that accurate contact details are shared and updated as necessary.
