If you are a specialist (a doctor, teacher, social worker, etc.) whom the sexual assault victim turns to, or if you suspect an act of sexual violence, you must stand for the best interests of your mentee.
Instruct them to turn to the Women’s Clinic Reception at the West Tallinn Central Hospital for initial help.
In the case of sexual violence against children, or when you suspect it, you must always inform the police, or the child protection official of your local government. Police have special units who deal with solving the matters of sexual violence. In the case you suspect sexual violence against children, also inform Tallinn’s Children’s House.
